INCEIF

There are not much I know actually about INCEIF(The Global University of Islamic Finance), but I am very intrested about this organization. First time, I heard about INCEIF, when my friend told me that his father had been transfered to this organization. So, I do some research, and luckily, The Star organize an educational fair at the KLCC, and at there got some booth about professional accounting programme, and there was a huge booth just for INCEIF.

INCEIF was set up by Bank Negara Malaysia (Central Bank of Malaysia). It is special to me because is is the only university in the world, that is wholly dedicated to postgraduate study in Islamic finance.

There were two courses that I'm intrested in; CIFP (Charted Islamic Finance Professional) and MIF (Masters in Islamic Finance). The CIFP programme is the most globally recognised entry qualification for the Islamic finance industry. The CIFP programme is fully accredited by the MQA(Malaysian Qualification Agency and the best thing is, it is equivalent to a Masters degree. While the MIF programme offers training in the key areas of Islamic economics, finance and Shariah in both theoretical and applied aspects. The MIF can be studied full-time or part-time. Both modes of study must take place on campus. The number of students accepted each semester is limited.

For more details about INCEIF, can go through their website; www.inceif.org, or email through; info@inceif.org, tel: +603 2781 4000, fax: +603 2692 4094. It was locaed at http://g.co/maps/6aad9
